Any kind of stick stabilizer will be the cheapest route.

I use Streamline. Very easy to install, took about 5 minutes.

How do these compare with the Elka's? Is this one of those "you get what you pay for" deals or will they do a comparable job? I ride mainly trails and desert; no track stuff.

You're right, you get what you pay for. These work very well, I'll never ride without one again. It is a few hundred dollars less than the other kind so I hope the Elka kind is better. I highly recommend one.

Very cool. I may check one of these out. I just can't see spending 3 times as much money for essentially the same thing. Thanks for the advice!

If you've never used the expensive one, like I haven't, you won't know that the other is better. LOL

But like I said... I love mine and wouldn't ride without one.

stick dampers are ok but no where near a system like Elka, precisin or Ohlins. Mayb look for a Gpr on ebay they are pretty good also but if you are on a budget stick will be best bet. If you aren't racing stick will work just fine, Stream Line, Gibson, or Denton Racing probally the way to go.
