Tappered Bearing Carrier??

HOW TIGHT DO I TIGHTEN ANTIFADE NUT??I NEVER HAD A TAPPERED CARRIER TILL NOW...

well if i am correct you should have to loosen 1 or 2 allen bolts to allow the nut to turn. then get a wrench and turn it counter clock wise i believe. (not positive though) which ever way tightenes the bearings up. But not too much.

Loosen the allen bolts on the anti-fade hub
Turn anti-fade so it moves away from the carrier
Snug it down tight
Then loosen it a little bit
Check for binding and smoothness of operation
Adjust accordingly
Tighten back down on the allen bolts
There is a fine line on these tapered carriers. Too tight and the brg. life is short! When adjusted properly they will last quite some time! I've had brgs. that lasted 3 yrs.!
