I used a 14 / 38 on my 04 and it had a lot of low end torque

what about a good bottom end but it still will just take off in 5th gear

i have 15-40 and you can still feel a lot more lowend it's just not quite as drastic as a 14-38.

I changed to a 13/39 and that was just enough for better low end

rear tire size comes into play a lot in this so post your tires size too

^^ what he said.. I'm running a 13/39 like racerdan, but once I switch to some 18's, that gearing will be way too low.
