i see you now make nerfs with net heel guards for the new yamaha yfz450r...are there any plans to make them for the honda trx 450r/400ex?

and why dont you guys make the separate heelguard/footpeg/nerf combo for the 400ex?

i would think that since the nerfs for the 450r fit on the 400ex, that the power grip system would also fit...the only issue i see would be the sub frame mount for the heel guards...i could be wrong though

^^^ thats what I was thinking... The heelguard might be the problem.

Yup, we sure will! It will most likley be a couple of months but we will have them for all the 450's!

I don't want to run you product into the ground but I've heard rumors about reliability trouble with pro armour products, and i love the black pro armour dominator bumper. has anybody had trouble with bumpers or nerfs? i only do fast trail riding so I don't worry about colliding with other bikes I just want to know if they will fend off stumps, trees and rocks. any comments?

p.s all the pro armour products look sweet so I hope this is just a rumor!

I've only heard bad things about the fat peg nerfs.. the heelguards seem to crack very easily

That issue has been addressed and resolved. The one great thing about Pro Armor is that if something by chance does break we really stand behind the product. Our customers are our #1 priority along with building quality products that are durable and look great.

We are currently not making the PowerGRIP for the 400 models but we will make the Revolution Nerf Bars for the 400 quads once we have completed the main 450 quads. The great thing about the Revolution nerf bars is you can run nets or metal heel plates and the foot pegs have an extra row of teeth. And the best part is they are quite a bit cheaper than the PowerGRIP System, in fact the Revolution with Nets are cheaper than our Fat Pegs!!!

You can put 450r pegs on a 400ex so I don't know why it wouldn't fit.

it wont fit due to the sub frame mount. i would have to check with the engineer to see if there would be any other issues.

But I heard the heel guards are still cracking. And after contacting ProArmor they said there's nothing they can do after 60 days.

After the 90 days, the blanket warranty is up, but we go case by case..meaning we always try to find a solution....we always make sure we take care of each customer.

sounds reasonable.. I'm looking for new nerfs and really like the fat pegs. Do you have any idea when we can expect the netted ones?

I'd love to get one of those wide grab bars, the powdercoated black one but the cheapest I've found it is $75 shipped on eBay. Now for $65 shipped I'd probably buy it but I don't think eBay will honor my gift certificate. :(
