Yukon gear set?

Is it worth buying the set off of e-bay for 389.00 w the 2 stock gears? im rebuilding my r & will b putting on an lrd 350pv. just want a bottom end that will hold up too it! any info would b great! anyone have these in your motors? thanks!

They have the exact same set for $289.99 - pay attention to the price. I have heard good things about them and have a set unopened I plan to use on future motor build.

I believe the $289 kit is for 87-89 motors and the $389 kit is for the 85-86. The $389 kit has the same gears plus 2 more gears for the 85-86 tranny. Don't quote me on that though...I believe he explains in his add. If you are going with that motor setup then it is recomended to go with the tougher gears to handle the power...those yukon gears are usually twice the $ of what they are selling for on ebay so get them...I did.

Johnny B is right. If you had a set of these gears in your hand you would see they are much stronger and built for punishment. I will not go back to the stock gears.

i seen the gear set for 289.00. i just have to figure out what bottomend i have? the cases are the aluminum color & not black. im thinking im just gonna order the 389.00 set anyway because it comes w/ the new honda gears to update to the 88/89 tranny ratio. thanks guys!
