removing parking brake! i removed from the caliper all the way to the clutch lever on the handlebars. how do i get it off from the clutch lever? and what would be the best clutch lever to get to make it look cleaner?

i cant remember how to get it off of the lever, but you dont have to if ur getting a new lever anyways, there are many options for levers, i got a moose one, or you could get asv's or rtc, but they get pricey

you need the lever and the perch, i would just go to ur local shop, and look in one of there aftermarket part books, any lever/perch for a 7/8'' bar will work fine

you don't need a different lever. i ran my stock lever on my 300ex for 9 years without the parking brake, i also ran the stock lever on my first 400ex for years like that as well as the for a year on my 450r...

just take the cable off, leave the brake lock flop...

i did the same thing i left the stock lever on for about a year then i wanted a cleaner look so i got a MSR clutch lever from rocky mountain... its a tough lever ill give it that... been flipped and landed on many a time and still going strong... cant beat a 30$ lever like that!
