Alright, I am half way done putting my new stage 2 hotcam in. My question is, when you press the cam sprocket flange back on, how do you know where to press it on in relation with the cam shaft. Do you just press it on any way, or do you have to press it on in relation to somthing. Thanks a lot for anything.

My cam is in now, and when it started, it ws ticking really really bad. I'm pretty sure i did somthing wrong, but if anybody got any ideas, let me know. Thanks

How does it run? After I put my 416 and cam in, it ran like garbage, and had a louder than usual tick to it. Found out my timing was off by a tooth or two. If it runs like before, I would check your valve adjustment like JB said.

Hey fourtraxrider, do you have a manual to look off of while you did this? Did you notice the two lines on the cam sprocket that need to both be perfectly horizontal in referance to the head itself? just checking.

When i checked everything out after i took at apart again, i realized my cam sprocket was off a tooth. Now it runs fine, just need to adjust my valves again and it'll be ready!
Thanks a lot guys!!!!
