Razr 2 fronts are a directional tire yet I have seen them being ran the opposite way they say to run them. I just want to know the advantage of doing this if any at all.

If you look arond the GNCC everyone runs them backwards. The reason being is the design of the tire makes them climb up out of the ruts. When you run them backwards they don't walk up the sides of the ruts, they keep you planted in them and tracking straight.

He's right. I'll also add that when you run them backward you will loose a little bit of stopping power. They tend to slide more when you apply the brakes.

I've ran them both ways, and I prefer the way Maxxis says to run them. It's all personal perference.

Dead on, I have to use manual a.b.s. on the front grabbers as I went for a nice ride down over a bank thinking it would stop like before after I flipped flopped my fronts.

I've ran them both ways and prefer them ran backwards. Ran the way that Maxxis recommends you have to fight them too much in rutted corners.
