Cylinder Head Nuts - OEM or ???

I hear that sometimes the stock nuts will bottom out and cause the o-ring's to leak.

Does anyone use any ACORN NUT other than OEM ?

Where can ya get 'em ?

Same here.

If you want you can put a washer under the nut so it can't bottom out.

Use CR head nuts. They're not acorn type, they are open.

run the acorn nuts along with some copper washers. works very well. just so you know.......... the acorn nuts will pop the crown easily if bottomed out and if this happens that means the studs arent all the way in or they are longer aftermarkets or something.
