GAS HOG! If its a really good deal be careful.......not saying to go get ripped off somewhere else just be really careful. I'm glad I'm not looking for a new truck...........I hate dealing with salesmen! My 2 cents.

V-10's spit their plugs out as do the 5.4 triton. You should really check the Ford Truck forums.

That was the one thing that never happened to mine....but I always expected it to happen in the middle of nowhere when I was pulling my trailer.

I had no confidence in going anywhere with that garbage.

You would be lucky to get 12-13 on the highway. Buy a diesel, my Dmax gets 20 MPG down the interstate

I have a powerstroke and I get about 16mpg on the highway going 70-78mph, which is pretty good considering that i am lifted on 37s with 20s, thats a lot of unsprung weight and air resistance which kill mpg also its a for door which is heavy, so im happy with my mpg.

Couldnt have said it better myself. Im a diesel freak...My brother bought a V10 new back in 99. Reg Cab 5 speed with a 4:30 gear. Boy would it scream but boy would it like the gas. He traded it in in 00 and went with the diesel. With a diesel you got good fuel mileage and with some mods you can get more power and even better mileage than stock believe it or not. Im runnin a 2006 F350 reg. cab 6 speed with 150 SCT programmer and gettin about 17 highway with 35 inch tires. And you can buy a diesel truck cheap right now.
