I'm trying to sell my truck. its a 78 power wagon that needs a new bed. i put it on craigslist and a guy actually offered to trade me straight up for a 1947 dodge sedan. he said it runs great and looks good too. I'm getting more pics of it tomorrow and see what i'm getting into. i don't have a license so i can't get my truck registered or inspected or insured cheaply so i can't drive it. at least if i would get this, i could get it insured and registered but i could use the money too. but what do you guys think about trading him? i don't know what to do.

your planning on using the car for a daily driver?

the thing is, my truck isn't worth that much though. the bed is wood floor and it will need replaced along with both rear fenders and the bed itself. some interior work, and the market is so bad right now for older trucks especially when it only gets 8 mpg.

i could just restore it, but i would rather do something along these lines...except for sitting in a pile of weeds

i'd like to keep the truck too, but its going to cost too much just to get it inspected. i need new tires and fix the bed up some. i was trying to just sell it outright, but this guy said about trading. and if i don't trade, he MIGHT have a buyer for his car and then he would give me a little over a grand for my truck. so either i get the car, or get the money.

so i don't think i'm going to trade for the car. he has a possible buyer for it and if the deal goes through, then he will buy my truck. i'd love to keep it but i have a 03 subaru forester with a blown motor thats $340 a month just sitting screaming throw a new motor with a turbo in me. and a fixed tranny along with a stage 2 clutch and turbo back exhaust. any of you guys what to buy it? haha

$340/ month car payment. i mean buy my truck not my car. i really don't want to sell it. its a beast but i'd rather sell that than my quad:ermm:
