I just picked up another 86/87 250R today.

Its old school- Dyna Port, Pro Design, Legacy, etc

Has a black engine, suspect that it is either painted or an old ATC engine. Here are the numbers, best I could make out-

Frame- JHSTE 1208 GC01619

Engine- 2411410

as for the frame... post a pic. for the engine you'll need to remove the cylinder and identify the crank aswell as the porting configuration on the cylinder.

The 'G' in the vin # = 1986 for the frame

If the engine # doesnt start with an 8 or a 1 then they are probably atc CASES. Since this is in a trx frame and being 20 some years old the only way to really tell what combination that it could be, is described above.

motor is an 85 atc 250r motor

Since it was a black engine in an 86 frame I was figuring it was an ATC250R transplant.

I am planning to part it out...
