slipon exhaust sealant??

I have recently bought a slipon exhaust for a z400 and was wondering if I need to put anything on the connection where the pipe and the can fit together

any advice will be helpful thank's

Just make sure the pipe is on all the way and you tighten down on the clamp, just be sure not to over tighten it. They tend to break very easily

thanks for the info. I was wondering because I had read or heard something about puting something on that joint

some people use a little high temp silacone but i dont think its needed.
