whenever our economy picks back up(yea i know that could be awhile) ill be selling my 400 and looking for a new quad. and im highly considering the yfz.
i have elkas on my 400 now that are 15 3/4 inches long.
will my elkas bolt right up to a yfz without a problem?
if not, ill will either sell the elkas and buy shocks that does fit the yfz or just get a honda 450.

thank you for your input,
Chris.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that my stock yfz shocks are 15.5 or 15.75 and that stock 400 are 16.5. in order use your elkas on a yfz you would just need some spacers for the mounts. I hear washers work.

we mounted stock yfzs to a 400ex but had to grind almost completely through the bushing

i assumed i would need spacers, i already have a drawer full.
but if your information is correct, then i should be good to go :D
i think ill go out and measure some stock yfz shocks whenever we start looking at some new quads. and compare them to my elkas.
appreciate the info guys.
