I bought a new 38 striker carb for my 350 pv lrd motor.. the thumb throttle is hard to push, any help on maybe a different spring so it would be easier to push??

Don't cut the spring lengthwise! Take the spring off and slide it over a pencil then take it to a grinder and thin the coils moving back and forth. This will thin the coils making it pull easier!

That's odd. Have you checked your cable and throttle housing yet? Second thing I might try would be to rub a little premix on the slide. If that didn't work, then, I might get drastic with the spring.

try taking the spring out and seeing how hard the slide is to pull. if its still even slightly hard then u need to lube the cable and internal throttle parts.
