wats the difference between a ordinary ole case saver and a molded one?

A basic case saver is only attached to the case where it contacts the mounting bolt areas. A molded one fits flush against the case covering the whole area. A basic case saver is usually made of aluminum, and the molded are made of a rubber type of material. If and when a chain breaks or pops off, if using a basic saver, all the impact of the chain hits the aluminum case saver and transfers the impact to the mounting areas of the case, usually ending up with busted off mounts from the case. A molded one, since being rubberish, absorbs alot of the impact, and since its molded, cant really move anywhere.

its zing racing. you have to call to order. however i wouldn't suggest you buy it. they wont stay on. i have raced it for about 6 months and all but the big pieces have come off. however if its a trailer queen you will love it.

im not sure what mine is. i forgot. however i remember its one of the "unbreakable ones"

No one plans on a broken chain. No one plans one having a chain jump off, which can do the same damage. Whats better on the wallet, a 40 dollar case saver, or paying to repair a busted engine?

I'll second that!! Zing graphics suck!! I done exactly as the directions explained, and then some...Left the tank air out for a few days, cleaned better than suggested, next day, the tank graphics were peeling away. The other pieces didnt want to stick very well neither. Lesson learnt.

thats the truth. like i said i had two chains come off. one i snapped (not sure how) and the other one broke when my chain guide bent. the guide smacked the back up my boot, scared the hell out of me. glad i had boots on.
