DG krome lite exhaust

i just bought this slip on anyone have one?
the guy told me the disk are the spark arrestor and to run 6 disk
anyone please help
are they loud or not?

no offense to you or anything but buying a DG exhaust is a mistake, most are junk.

as for your question, i have no idea.

agreed that was a big mistake. i would recommend returning it wi'll you can. i have a white bros e-series. other people recommend curtis sparks. witch i wish i could have a sparks. but if you on a budget get a HMF!!!!

i agree with both of them, if u can return it, do it. the hmf is the best bang for ur buck. sparks is a little pricey but well worth it.

im not a fanboy, i have a crappy FMF megamax on mine, but ive heard DG's are all junk exhaust wise.

well xdee i have owned one and they r way loud and sound like crap. they give u less horsepower than a stock silencer. if u dont think im right check the numbers. if he wants to keep it, thats fine but we are just trying to help.

I have owned one and they are not that good...they are not made well and sounded horrible...like a baby farting in a diaper that was full of poop....I was lucky enough to be able to return it and bought a pro circuit t4 which is a louder than normal pipe but a much better aftermarket pipe. i like the HMF but wanted to be different and blast my brother while he was trying to catch me....just my own opinion..might be a pipe you will like.

I think it is ok for an exhaust. I think it would look cool with the rest of the chrome stuf I have. I thought about getting one for a long time for my 250 I had but then I sold it to get the 400. If it works great, you guys don't have to rip on it just because of what you hear. maybe with less plates or more plates than what a test uses it is much better. Run less and get the extra back pressure for the low end torque. The more plates you use the higher the band will be. I would like it just to be able to adjust it for riding situations. If you need it quieter for quiet trails take out disks if racing put them in. It may be a sort of win win for him with it. good luck, my .02 steve:D

so im gonna go for it
just ordered a filter and outer wear and a cdi box next is jets
thats all im doing to it motor wise rest will be cosmetics

i rana dg krome power, was the worst investment ive ever mad, i ut my stock one back on and will wait till i get the cash for something good like a fatboy 4 or sparks....
