Hey i was just wondering how easily a 250r or cr250 motor would fit in a blaster frame i no i would need to make motor mounts and all
im asking because i just picked up a blaster with so ancient 250 air cooled motor that needs some serious work
so been thinking about a newer 250 swap

Thanks for the help
were really considering doing it but i didnt want to buy a motor and have to cut the frame up or anything to drastic to make it fit
were not looking to spend a ton of money on this thing we only paid 300 for it

a cr250 will vibrate like hell in a quad chassis

ok, i have/ had a buddy that did this. you have to reinforce the front motor mounts really good. and he put the raid kinda like the Lt and the Shee...

i see people with rm 250s and stuff all the time in them... good luck post the pics.

Look for a 2 stroke engine that has a counter-balancer. The cr250 doesn't and yeah its going to a vibrating MF'er. 250r engine would be a good canidate.
