newer motor in 05 frame??? easy???

what needs to be done to put a 06 or newer 450r motor in a 05 quad?? is the wireing harness different?? mounting?? Just blew my 05 motor in glamis and need a new one. Something broke in bottom end and shot through the case.. any help is appreciated. thanks -Big Nicky-

i know you need the mounting brackets from the 2006+ engine. I doubt the exhaust headpipe will mount up. I am not sure about the electronics.

The 2006 has a different carb, carb boot, and airbox too.
