that place is like 5 hours from my house.please tell me the truth,is it worth the drive up there or not? been thinking of making the trip but didn't want to if its not worth my time energy and most of all $$$$$$.if its not worth it,much rather ride locally.just wondering what yall thoughts on the place.

as far as road trips like that, if you have doubts then its not worth it. its more of a just a place to be able to keep on top of your skills when the weather makes it tough or impossible to ride anywhere else. if i were you i'd just stay home. i'll see if i can find some footage, ripitup films did a video there so i'll find the link.

its a great place to get in shape for the season for us NEATV guys, you'll have a good time gonna be a lot of racers there this weekend looking to get some seat time in. i'm gonna try to snap some pics and maybe get some video footage.

I'll be there but still no riding. I'm really hopeing to get cleared for the one on the 8th though. And JParisi48 xtreme atv's is like a half hour away from mototown, if you really want some of that oil. I'll check to see if they have it in stock if you want.

Nick, its not worth the trip AT ALL! If you lived closer id say maybe. I used to make the trip previous years alot for the quad events. Each time the track seemed to get worse(or less anyways). Last time i went up was about two months ago, and couldnt believe it. Again if you live close, its cool. But for me driving about 7 hours to ride at a place that is so tight and small its not funny, longest jump was maybe 35ft. if that. Very high speed for the size of the track also.

Again before people start bashing away, it would be cool to ride there more if your within a few hours. But making a long haul up there is no way worth it. Come down to seaford(delmarva) and ride all you want, its not indoors but the track stays rideable all year long.

Thank you
Justin

if you are serious about racing the track is deffinetly the place to go in the off season and get the muscles moving.

Personally if someone was taking me i would go and split the cost

The track has sand parts and high speed parts. nothing huge but its technical.

the layout was def nice though and it looks like we can expect a pretty exciting year at neatv judging by the way everyone was riding especially artie, mike and jon

just got back from there. I like the new layout, track was real nice. def more skill needed with the new layout. the track is good because for us guys out here, its a place to ride thats not muddy or frozen. also, if you just finished setting your bike up, its a good spot to get it dialed in, and see what needs to get changed. its awesome to come up with a lot of guys and even fun to watch. a lot of fast riders today. keep up the good riding NEATV.

that track is twice as long and has easily twice the jumps, all of which are very do-able on a quad, anyone can hit the ski jump its just a matter of actually clearing the entire jump. motorama is a good time but the track is boring as h*** becuase its setup for bikes and there isn't much of a track anyways

mototown layout - holeshot into a table, option line table/ski jump, right hander into a table followed by four singles (can be doubled if you come into them fast enough) short straightaway into a sweeping left hander into a real short straight with a tight left hander into a table followed by a tight right hander, straightaway into a table into a double/table into a left hander, whoop section into another left hander, table into a tight left hander, another table into a tight right hander, double double into s turns, double into double/table into a tight lefty and then it starts over.

idk if you followed that layout lol but it makes for much more fun riding then the one at motorama. but it doesn't matter because the paperwork is already being brought up to sell mototown to a movie production company.

Fun riding yea, Racing idk. There are alot of pro proams that hit the jumps then dont. I can see why, your season is over. Motorama is nice in a cold Feb & nothing to do, but YOU brought up the boring in comparision. The Video didnt do anything prob the same watching Motorama. I dont ride my kids do, anyone who can ride & jump bigger gonads then me.

there were some a/proam/pro riders at the last mototown and its a blast watching the fast guys on that track, its a little tight for racing but i think for the motos that would matter in it makes it more interesting
