i live in oregon with some great dune riding, i cant seem to find anyone who has changed their front or rear sprockets to add performance up the hills. does anyone know of a good dune combo? i have 20" tires, gytr pipe, k&n, and a debock computer plugin. the quad does great but i would like alittle bit more for my 230# body without spending alot. thanks

Lots of guys like to change the front sprocket to a 15 tooth. The stock one is 14 tooth. The taller gear will let your Raptor stretch it's legs a little on the dunes.

so, will it go faster at low end or top end speed with a 15 tooth front? i love to race people up the dune mountain, it does alright until the last 100 feet near the top of the dune, thats when i loose everytime. if i shift up to 4th gear it falls on its face, if i leave it in 3rd i run out of power at full throttle then i get passed. maybe i just need to loose some weight :)

Sounds like the 15t front is just what you're looking for. You can leave it in third and kill'em at the top.
