Im just turning 18, well today actually! Ive been looking around for a little while for a gun. Not for hunting, but basically a toy. I was just going to see if you thought this would be a decent gun to buy....?

Savage Model:10FCPXP HS Precision
300 Win. Mag

1st...happy birthday:D

2nd- a 300 Win mag is a cannon. Expensive to shoot, a wee bit hard on the shoulder for most folks etc.

A toy would be a Colt or Busmaster :devil:

Haha bushmasters are nice. I have an AR-15. Kinda on the high side to shoot because it's easy to go through rounds, but hella accurate and fun to shoot. Surprisingly loud.

..if your looking to just do some shooting...go get yoursefl a skeet gun or sporting shot gun....i dnot knwo were you live but im sure you could find a ton of clay sports ranges within an hour of wherre you live..


..i have multiple guns, but i like taking out my remington 22-250 model 700 sps varmit and shoot at targets on rocks at a local gravel pit at like 400 yards..

Yea, we waited two months for a brand new bushmaster ar-15. From how it seems it getting even longer. Even the mods are crazy low on stock.

22-250 is a good gun. Really fun to shoot if you're into precision shooting.

My dad has quite a collection of guns himself. His guns, and basically my guns. So the reason i was interested in the savage was because its one thing my father does not have, (basically a sniper rifle)

18 my friend. All you have to be is 21 to buy a hand gun. All other guns are fair game at 18.

Haha. I wouldn't shoot that T-Rex gun if someone paid me to do it. I do know someone that has one though. It's something not to mess with lol.
