View Full Version : Clutch Perch!?!

Hey I want to get a new clutch pertch.. any ideas ?!?! I heard you can use a cr125 perch. Once I get a perch what do i do with the parking break thing?!?!? I know you can get block offs but i dunno i am confused.

when you change the perch you need to take off the parking brake. its easy all you do is unscrew the thing on the break and screw the block off in then pull the cable out of the quad along with the stock perch. then you put your new one on. yes you can use a cr one and it works nice. personally i use an MSR raptor, their only 30 bucks and they are pretty cool lookin and while their not the best out there mine works perfectly fine and i have no gripes about it.

Ill 2nd that, really nice perches, and you can get a grip on the lever....its polished and really looks nice, i go the shorty, or i will till christmas....tonight!! or tommaro ill get it! along with other goodies for the quad a digi cam to take some pics finnally

so what happens with the kill switch, starter button and the headlight controls? My quad is at my friends house so i cant look at it but from memory all of the stuff is combined into one piece right? So if you replace it what happens to all that other stuff? Anyone have any pics?

no the stock perch has nothing to do with the starter/headlights. well i guess it does if you count the neutral safety switch but you just cut the wire and tape it up, no biggy.

yeah i'll 3rd the msr raptor clutch/perch. i love mine. much better looking and functioning than stock.

how is the pull on them cause i have a fly quick adj. and its hard to pull

get a PEP lever there amazing:D
