Ok. I made up my mind. im going with the predator. only question i have is what to look for as far as problems. Im going to look at an 05 and I want to know what to look at specifically and any problems to watch for. thanks.

The 05's didn't have any common problems. I have one & it's been very reliable. Check & see if it has an aftermarket ignition. They usually allow higher rpm's, which is hard on the valves.
If it starts easily when cold, the valves are probably ok.

I am on my 2nd Predator and I loved both of them. I had a 2003 when they first came out and never had any problems with it except the front brakes dragging. I sold it and bought a 2004 YFZ 450 LE and now I am back on a 2004 TLD Predator.

Well its official. im the proud new owner of an 05 red predator. I cant wait to pick it up next week. I am at college so I have to wait, and im working this weekend so I cant go home. My bro went and checked it out and for $1800 I think I got a good deal.

Congratulations! The 416 will probably feel like 1/2 throttle on the Preddy.
