Hey, to all of you who run atva nationals on 300's I need help. Last year we ran Birch Creek and some D13 races. We had the suspension an such completely built. But the motor was stock. As we speak , Colby at C&D is building our motor for a run at the Nationals. However, I need a good average starting spot to gear this thing. I know it will be a lot different than with the stock motor. To get some low end oomph with the stock motor, we ran the stock rear sprocket and went 1 tooth smaller on the front. Now I need to gear it for the race motor and for the big tracks. We will be at Pell City for the opener. Would some of you be so kind as to share your gearing with us newbies?

14/36 is the most common set up. maybe 14/37 when you get on a tighter track or indoor track.

Goodluck. Hope to see you there!
