how do i do the clutch upgrade fopr my 86 to be like an 89 and whsats the advantages?

:) Get the clutch update kit. Instead of the ball bearing @ the end of the pushrod it will have a torington (sp) bearing SMOOTHER.:p

Price is like $75 retail....and you get the Push rod (same as '86), Pressure plate (which is different than the '86), torrington (thrust bearing) bearing support & flat washer.

DO NOT LOSE the washer........the only way to buy it is in the kit.

For some weird reason it's not on the HONDA microfische.

I just bought an Update kit last week!!

It was on the package of a kit I bought a while back. I know it's not on the microfishe but thats the part # you can call a dealer and have them look it up on the old fishe if you want.
