I've just purchased a White Brothers E-series silencer for my 2002 300EX and where the connection of the headpipe and the silencer is, air comes out. The headpipe is a little too small for the silencer to tighten on it. Will this hurt the engine? Or should i buy a aftermarket header?

you will loose performance and it may mess up the back pressure in the engine so i would try and get it fixed

just put a pipe clamp on it, or buy the header;)

You will lose some power as the air escapes....but I don't think it will hurt your engine - you just won't get the maximum benefit from your slipon.......mine leaks a little bit from where the header fits onto the block - just makes noise.....

if you look inside your stock silencer there will be a gasket...either put that on there or go buy a new silencer header join gasket from honda ($15)
