I like my XC because its versatile but I think an SX would make a great TT bike.

ya i know, the guy at my shop said the linkage he had lowered it good, i looked it up on the internet and it said it only lowered it like an inch, i told him and he said it lowered it more, im gonna get a crj lowering link, the fron shocks are all the way up to match the rear, im ganna buy the link, houser aarms, stem and bars, and a sway bar is comin in, i had a race today but they canceled it cause not many people showed up, cant wait till im finished

he said the reason why it is sittin up high is because the swaybar isnt on yet, if he did lower it it would push alot

we cut our link that goes from the bottom to the swinger in half put about 3/4" block in then welded straps on each side to lower mine, I think we just got lucky with how much. It's cheap... It's actually one off a 400ex I can post a pic if your interested. Also I'd be careful who your getting your set-up info from like DEERCHOPPER said a sway bar will not lower your quad. TT/FT is alot of set-up

its alot of set up and no one has the right answer. they change all the time from track to track and race from race. i dont think theres anything solid in a set up than lower it, take it to 50" (which i havent done yet),run a swaybar and light as posiable. im 4'' off the ground with me on it.

running xc shocks all the way around.
homemade front and rear lowering kit
gtt xc link

i race xc and ft, so i can switch it in less than a hour back to which ever.

What is the reason to run a -1 swing arm? Does it help much? or should I just keep stock length?
