I just ordered a quad-tech carbon fiber hood, and most of the pics I have seen on here are with the hood on the stock plastic. I was wondering is anyone running the scoop with fullbore plastic. I've never seen this setup before, any pics? I'm intrested in mounting my hood on the fullbore plastic.

All Dana did to his new quad is change the color of the plastic. Same nerfs, bars, grips, axle etc... My friend bought Dana's old quad, looks just like that one except with blue plastics. And it has so many stickers on it, all the little kids in the neighborhood come over to her house and want to see the " sticker bike"....it's pretty funny.

NTPRacing19,

If that last post was for me, those pics I posted ARE a 250r, it's now a ESR 310r:eek: My friend bought that quad from Dana himself, what more can I say...He may have a CRF450 now, but I'm not sure...

Dana runs a YZ426 now. Also that quad must of been Dana's practice or quad from 2001 because it still has a stock frame instead of a Laeger. Where is Dana when you need him....

That's correct, stock frame, with many welds. I rode it just after the ESR310 kit was installed....it hauls the friggin mail...let me tell you. Will pull up a wheelie in 6th at 65mph....easy

13.1-1 compression runs on VP c-12

I got no idea if it was his practice quad or what...but she said it was his and I believe her. I just think it's kinda cool, some of you might think differently...

The quad in the pic (that Dallas has) is from 2000. It is pretty much my 250A bike. I had a borrowed Laeger frame that year and had to return it after I finished the season. She got the bike with my stock frame but everything else like I raced it.

In 2002 I ran a YZF426 with a Laeger frame. This year will be a Walsh frame and a Honda CRF450.

I hear from her once in a while and hear she is upgrading that bike over and over. I'm glad someone is taking care of it since it was a good bike for me.

Hey Dana,

Thanks for your input. I'm a good friend of Dallas'. That thing was fast before, but it really rips now. I took it for a spin when she first got it back, and everybody on the block came out of their house to see what the h ell was going on. It's a real head turner in the dunes out here.

Dana how come you switched from Laeger to Walsh? I've noticed a lot of the top Pro's are doing that now.
