i just got a bell moto-8 helmet. got 2 rides on it since the snow melted and i love it! if your looking at new helmets don't forget bell. they are making some good stuff over there, it was a bit pricey but we are talking about your head here.

YES! Glad somebody else caught on to Bell. I got one for my birthday and it is a night and day difference in my One Trooper. My friend has an Arai and he said he likes my Bell better. I have the Black Manic color scheme.

this feels like the lightest helmet i have ever had.

weight depends on size if you have small to medium head and would get the shell size e and large head shell size f

the shell size e is listed at 1300 grams which turns into 2 lbs 13.85 ozs

the shell size f is listed at 1400 grams which turns into 3 lbs 1.38 ozs

I like the Moto-8's, but the Moto-6 and early Moto-7's are my favorite helmets. Plus they were made in America and Italy, not China like most of the helmets out there today.

Not meaning to hijack, but have you even used or heard about Sparx helmets? I've got one but haven't used it yet. Found it on sale at a Honda shop.

The Sparx is not Snell approved it meets DOT and ECE2205 standards.

I trust snell.

I have ordered three Moto 7's from them over the years, always a good experiance. My first Moto 7 a couple years ago was $200 from them, I bought two more a few months ago for $125 each, now they are only $99! I may buy one or two more just to have them.
