I'm going to be getting a JE 12.8:1 Piston Kit for my LT-R with this kit will i have to do any cylinder work or will it fit stock. It says it will fit stock but i just wanna check.

Should fit, unless your cylinder is bad. Make sure you get rings for a deglazed jug though..

Are the ones that come whit it made for deglazed ? its a kit. http://www.magicracing.com/JE-1281-Piston-Kit--Suzuki-LT-R450-06-_p_5806.html# dosent say any thing about deglazed. In fact i never even herd of deglazed.

I would mike the cylinder and the piston to see what kind of clearances.I would always rehone cylinder and take the glaze out of it using new rings.Just my 2 cents!

sorry, but I've never heard of deglazed rings. just like jersey said, hone cylinder and install new rings. as long as the kit is made for stock bore ur good

Some ring and piston kits are made for a deglazed cylinder, which means you can drop in the new kit in you old cylinder, and some are made for a replated and honed cylinder. Usually the rings for a replated cylinder are for big bores, or from badly damaged cylinders that needed to be brought back to spec, but make sure you are using the correct rings since it will make a difference in how they wear.
Look at page 22 in the catalogue for CP pistons, they state which type of ring is sold with each kit.
