When i pull in the clutch from neutral and put it in to first sometimes my engine just dies.
Is this a problem with the clutch, dose it need to be adjusted?

Either you cluth is hanging because the cable has stretched (needs adjusting) or your clutch basket is groved and not allowing the plates to release properly.

out till it has just a little bit of play.if you still cant get it tight enough you can adjust it on the right side of the motor.

Is it mainly when the bike is cold? I wouldn't think the basket with a newer quad. Have you changed the oil lately?

If you do it too much, your clutch will slip.

check your pressure plate. i just changed mine because it had a deep groove cut into it from the fibers. i never seen this problem before but i checked my other motors and they are startin to do it too. you should have about the width of a nickel play between your clutch perch and handle when adjusting it.
