whats yours?

i got mine tested at the gym tonight... i have 8.6
for my age 11 is excellent and 6 is risky

I have no idea, i cut twenty + pounds for wrestling and now thats over for me i gained 5-10 back.

Get tested at a gym or dr.'s office. (call first) Also there are various health stores that sell body fat calipers. Some places check by submersion in water (most accurate)and measure the amount of water you displace.

Pinch the fat in 5 or 6 places around your body with the device and take an average.

Take the caliper and measure on the tricep area with your arm relaxed. Next measure on yourback in the kidney area. Combine the two measurements. Might need a friend to get it accurate. The water displacement thing I've never heard of. When you measure in the areas above just take your fingers and pinch the area. After you take the two measurements divide by two, which will give you an average. If you measure in more than one spot (not needed) Divide that into the equation. Basically take an average of all measurements.

im in wrestling and the state made a new rule that we can lose more wieght than we have fat. im 6' and 155lbs. it said that i have 7% body fat. pretty good since i lost 30lbs since last year
