Dumb tether ? need guick help.

I have a pro design tether kill switch which was originally on my 400ex. I now have a crf450 and am wondering if it will work properly on crf electronics.

Reason I am asking is I am unsure if the switch closes or opens the circuit, and wether the crf kill switch opened or closed the circuit. I would just plug it in and give it a try, but I am three hours away, trying to order everything I need for this race season.

Also I'm needing a bolt for my kickstarter and East Coast atv extension. Mine rattled out, wondering if anyone knows what thread size and length bolt. I am just needing to know if I need to order it, so when I go home I'm ready to ride.
