i can't believe people are still paying that much for them. i sold mine for 165 shipped. anything over is too much. look around some more.. i would never pay 200 for stock shocks.

You can tell it's tax time and spring in coming in the northern states - prices are up $50+ from 2-3 months back.

I didn't notice that you we in NY as well. It's cold, but with most of the snow gone, we can ride:)

I think it's a fair price. Maybe more than some others over the past few months, but demand is up. Lots of people have paid $200 for them which is still a bargain compared to new prices, Elkas, etc.

i just got a set from kyle_250x for 160 shipped. thats a fair price, a month ago ebay was around that as well, what the hell are these people thinking spending 350, for a few hundred more they could have brand new aftermarkets, if i was going to spend that i would save a few more months and get aftermarkets!

Yeah i agree....the snow is finally getting under the 8 inch mark and i can actually see some grass and almsot all of my trailer can be moved. I felt the same way...i have the money and wanted to try and get some 450R's for less than 200 if i could...Nothing wrong with my 08 suspension but would like to upgrade for less than 200. I really cant afford the high end shocks and figured that this may be the economical way

I agree...some of the ebay prices are just ridicuolous....i felt anything under 200 was a deal shipped

it will be 2 yrs since i got it on march 13th also the payoff thank goodness and it has probably only sat unridden for 1 month at the longest in that whole time, texas weather sucks sometimes but its nice when it is liable to be in the 70s any month of the year

I was debating on getting 450r shocks for a while, but I have riden my Buddie's 450r a lot and the shocks are nicer than the stock 400 shocks but not worth $200. I decided to save up to get the same works triple rate shocks I have on my Banshee which are only around $430 and are definitely way better than 450r shocks.

If you have gone this long with stock shocks, just keep them and save up the extra money and get the cheap works or elkas. you will be MUCH happier.

I agree...its an 08 so i really havent beaten the stockers up yet too bad

But.... You can always get them revalved and resprung by GT thunder or whoever.. then they become way better than those cheap works or elkas.

How much better are the 450r shocks (revalved and resprung by GT thunder) than the E36 elkas?
