Plastics Not Fitting Around Gas Tank

It seems like every time I take my plastics off the fit around the gas tank gets worse am I missing something?

took mine off once, hasnt fit the same since. looks like garbage

I was hoping it wasnt only me ..... I think what happens is when the plastics sit on the ground off the quad they are reshaping to some extent and since there are no bolts around the tank there is nothing to get it back to the way it was.....

Do you have the key ignition in right? The first time I put them back on, there was a bulge around where you stick the key in. The plastics went on, but nothing fit quite right around the gas tank. Once I took them off and put the ignition through the plastics right, everything was fine.

What do you mean by right? Please explain are you talking about how the wires lay against the tank?

yea, if you don't have the part you plug the key into twisted the right way, the wires push the plastics up and nothing fits right.

This would explain my problem..... Hope it doesnt mess it up I wont be around the quad until the end of the week.....
