Didnt go so well. I realized how close u really have to get to get a good pic. I also learned it takes some skill to pan with them.

About what time do u usually go out? I think I might have went out a little to early. I dont think there was enough sunlight.

Depends really. Sometimes we are out an hour before sunrise setting up blinds and waiting for the sun to come out. We scout the birds, figure out where the sun will be and then find a spot to shoot from. This is for wild birds.

Park ducks if available, soley depends on the sun and if they wll fly. If they wont fly we dont shoot them haha

Wildlife refuges are the same as wild ducks for us, although some places have alot of birds and can be shot when the light is best, and that varies with your area.
