my condolence to rc and his family

i'm sad to announce that ricky carmichael's father 'big rick' has passed away. ryan dungey dedicated his sx lites win saturday night to big rick. big rick did not miss a single race during rc's career on 2 wheels, pro and ametuer.it's so sad to go at this time while rc tries to advance his career on 4 wheels at the nascar level.

I know its something we all will face, but that doesnt make it any easier. And knowing how dedicated and close RC and his dad were, this has to hit RC pretty hard.

r.i.p is that right? where did you you read that or hear that from? i looked all over the net and found nothing on it. all i could think of was wow this is no time for that, but hey, there is never a good time to lose somebody as special as big rick, or anybody for that matter..the guy stays out of the lime light and doesn't try to market his BLESSED child like so many fathers have... they are just sooo genuine people without a doubt.it is a bummer that they lost their grandpa thou.
