View Full Version : Just found a pic of our old 6-wheeler

Anyone else have one of these or something similar. This is an old Attex 6-wheeler. This was long before quads were even in existance. You drove it with 2 sticks sorta like a dozer.

did that one float, i bet if it had the power it would be unstoppable.

Yeah, we could run it right off the road into the lake and it floats just like a boat! It was very slow in the water though. The wheels would be spinning at 35mph and it would only be moving about 2mph:D It did very well in the woods though. It was heavy and had a lot of low-end torque. Made it nice for clearing trails for the dirtbikes.

Nice pic. For the newer argos(6-8 wheelers) you can get a propeller to make it move faster, think bigger dune paddles would do the same. Must of been fun to ride around in.

those are awesome. i've never seen anyone around where i live with one only pics. how old was that one.

I have an 81' Max II with an 89' 16HP engine.. I can get pics tomorow, but its all snowy..

Chef - looks like you use yours for what we used ours before we put it outside and what we use the Odyssey for now - storage.
