Who has black nerfs & bumper?

I am considering getting the black nerf bars and bumper but I would like to know how they hold up to scratches? Do they look pretty rough once they start getting scratches and rock chips? Are they solid black all the way through...or will you see silver underneath when they start to scratch? Any opinions would be great. Thanks!

I have the blue ones that came on our Apex, and they do show silver underneath when they scratch. Have one season on them and I need to get them powdercoated now.

we keep our fresh with black touch up paint or sharpie marker
