ok i know this is not were to post but. i got got a 03 kx125 an i need to get the clutch hub off but i cant get that nut that holds it on off. got any tips or anything

im guessing right but i tried both.... this has always been an easy job but that thing dont want to come off...

ya i tried hitting mine with a impact wrench and it didnt work either. then i threw it at the hub and ended up ruining my hub and my socket. anyway

you need to put the plates back on the clutch and then you can push on the plates and that will help ya hold it when ur torquin it off with an impact wrench.

never took them out.... been there..... thats why i just dont under sand what i can do other then buy that grab it tool...

vise grib a fiber and metal plate together, then use the impact

try going the other way. try turning up the reagulor pressure on your air compressor. try pg blaster. put heat on it also. make sure you are pressing on the plates twords the motor when you are impactin away.

good idea. cuz mine are bad i got to buy new ones anyways the metal ones are blue i think thats way they are not holding this should work

stuff shop rags around the basket so it doesnt move and the impact should take it off, worked for me

all to replace a shift rod an now this

it bent it then i tryed heating it an bending it back it it broke i hit it with a rubber hammer soft.... maybe i should have clipped a few of them together

yeah now i got to wait for parts waiting sucks. well i made a tool ill put pics of it in on here after i get the clutch off just jot to let the jb weld sit a lil longer on my tool lol

i got it! i wish i would have did this in the first place now im out $100 for a new clutch basket lol o well the only way to find out if something works is to try an so i boke a part but also made myself a kool tool jb weld is badass.
