tires can shave lots of lbs. 2 ply 18s on rears and 19s on the front, carbon fiber rims, fat bars vs steel, pegs,

Look at drag banshees and see what they cut off their frames and what other parts they take off to remove weight.

Generally, when you cut something off of your frame, you will weaken it, and thats going to get you nowhere in motocross. The main things you could do is lighter exhaust, lighter CF wheels, cut plastic, and remove unnessacary items such as headlights, tail lights, etc...

i wasnt going to cut anything on my frame. i wouldnt hurt because im drag racing but i dont want to do that anyway. im not that serious in racing

what other carbon fiber wheels are out there.......there is hipers but 1 hiper wheels feels like it weighs more than 2 aluminum wheels

like someone already said remove all lights,tail lights,parking brake,even the fan on the radiator can come off.just in all that bs,you'll save a few pounds.then go and add the wheels,tires,exhaust ect.question,did the bike come with skid plate or sprocket protector or anything along those lines? or is it a bone stock bike??
