07 450r electric start issues?

I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with thier electric start or if there has been a recall or anything on them. It just whines and doesn't seem to have the power to crank it up so I'm thinking its the starter...?

there is a recall on them, but i think it expired in september of last year...some dealers are still honoring them though
