I have little bit of oil coming from a small weep hole on the right hand side of engine block. Does anybody know what this is and is it OK? The hole is near the top of the cyclinder wall just before the valve cover.

Thanks

Pretty sure its just a drain for the spark plug hole. If its like the z400's I had, it is. The only reason I can think that oil would be coming from it, would be from a leaking valve cover gasket, allowing the plug hole to fill with oil. Maybe someone else will have other idea's. Definately not normal if its oil for sure.

yea i don't know why oil is coming from it, its a seep hole for your coolant

It's not a seep hole for coolant. Like stated above it is a dran hole for when water gets in the spark plug tube. The rubber ring that seals the spark pluk tube to the valve cover needs to be replaced.

Ok thanks, Is it OK for coolant to weep out of the hole? What does it mean?

Thanks

Nope
Only thing that should come out of that hole is water that drains out of the spark plug hole from washing the quad.

If coolant or oil comes out of it there is a bad seal or a crack in the cylinder head somewhere.
