09 Suzuki lt50...loose wire?

Got my little girl a 09 Suzuki lt50 and noticed there was a wire hanging from one of the wiring harness under the front. It is a black wire so I suppose it is just a ground. It looks like it is suppose to just plug into the harness.
There is no ill effects I have seen from the quad as we have taken it out a few times already.
Is this normal or should I find out we exactly it goes and plug it in.

Our 06 has the same wire. Noticed it a while ago. Never had any problems though. Don't worry about it.
