this is my first winter on my 400ex i bought these tires and studded them to get a good grip on the ice and get through snow and mud , we seem to have a combo of those elements here, warning do not buy a ac racing skid plate the one in the pick has like 4 rides on it , anyways check em out

Those look killer man. I bet they'll grip good in hard packed too. How much did you give for them?

not to good in hard packed, tamers work much better , i got them for mud tires but they work great in snow to so i threw some studs in them , there called excavators from dennis kirk for 100. for the pair , i have already gone through some nasty places that i got stuck in with stock tires , these rip right through with ease

Thats cool I got the 22" carlisle strykers on my 300EX and havn't been stuck yet they were on another bike before mine and I couldn't pass up the deal so I took 'em. I'm thinking about getting some 20" bandits to put on, I really like them on my friends 406.
