gearing

i ride trails mostly and i'm looking for some better acceleration. i have my axle off right now so it is the best time to do it. i have 22 inch razrs in the rear w/ stock rims, cobra full exhaust, K&N filter w/ lid removed and jetted. what would you guys reccomend i do?

well if you need more acceleration, go down teeth on the front sprocket or up teeth on the rear sprocket. your gonna lose top speed which the 300ex doesnt have alot of to begin with..

i'm gonna get a 12 tooth for the front. do i need a smaller chain to do that?

i really doubt it. just look on the swingarm, if it is adjusted all of the way back/tight your gonna have to get a new chain. the smaller sprocket would make the chain looser so as long as you have enough adjustment you should be fine.
