is there any way to straighten out a slightly bent axle?

Send it to the manufacturer. Although I'm not sure if all axles are able to be bent back without losing strength.

If you dont want to send it back to the manufacturer take it to a local machine shop. They'll hook you up. If its bent really bad the maker will usually replace it if you have an aftermarket axle. Usually you have to be the original purchaser.

I did not purchase new anddont have recipt it is a lone star so a machine shop can fix it

Yes, a machine shop can take care of that for you. This goes for stems that have a slight bow to them as well.

hey a lonestar has a lifetime warranty. send it again and get a new 1.

If hes not the original purchaser they cant help him. Remember the card you get with the axle that you have to send back to LSR in order to recieve the lifetime warranty. Thats what thats for.

yes you can straighten it out but it sure would be nice if ya had that card. :cool:
