i need info and help again ... my 400 is getting rebuilt from being stolen and while that is taking place im looking for the best deal or info on a good exhaust ... i was thinking Yosh but what would you all think on what i should do ? now keep in mind i have a budget to upheld .. any and all ideas WILL be taken into consideration ...

lol very nice pipe, but i dont think that would be a pipe were your trying to keep to much of a budget.
i also have the hmf full carbon fiber ballance exhaust. its a beauty but has a big price tag, worth every penny imo

you really need to richen up your jets if you put a slipon on cause the ex are jetted so lean from the factory. im sure some one out there has done it but its not good for the valve seals. it kinda cooks them then they leak and then you get smoke. you can tell if your lean by the header pipe when its gets an "orangeish" or georgia clay color. if properly jetted the header will get a nice blueish tint. here is a DIY link to changing your pilot (idle)jet and the main jet is right next to it.

We have the Lexx MXe on our 08 and its great! My wife was saying that her old Yami 350 had more snap and kick to it. I installed the Lexx, Twin Air filter and 4 1" holes in the airbox lid and the first day she rode it "Im officially in love with my quad"

ct racing makes a nice pipe for the 400ex. sounds killer w/ the turn down tip & makes nice power. philscycle or atvgalaxy sells them. you could probably get it for around 480. i've never seen anyone on here w/ a ct. it made the most power in dirtwheels pipe shootout a few years ago, but didn't win because of how loud it was.

its a great pipe that looks great, sounds great and adds power to the quad. Theres just certain people that think that everything is trash unless you own the same thing as them and they own the best of everything....

I'm also looking fo rthe best pipe to buy with my tax money. Now i also am on a buget but i have heard that the LRD pro series 4 is a great pipe for the 400 EX. What do you guys think of that one? i would like to try and get as much power out of the pipe that i buy without getting to expensive. I also am going with full exhaust not a slip on. Ideals?

HMF will get my vote. Cheap, high quality, loud as hell and adds power. Can't go wrong with any of that stuff!!
