uhmm one thing whats the little things on the shocks (works shocks) like little container

i think you are talking about the reservoir. shocks are filled with a nitrogen and this is where it goes when the shock compresses. they allow a larger volume of nitro. so that the shocks can perform better and longer before fading on long rides/motos/races.

wd 40 would be better...but where are they squeaking...if they are squeaking where they mount, it would be preferable to take them off and grease them where they mount

wd40 wont fix the squeek. Take the shock off, and the bottom and upper rubber thats in the shock you need to pull those out, regrease em, and put em back in.. SUPER easy to do.

Once you have the shocks off you can lift the tires up and down and see if there are any other squeeks.. Chances are nothing else is squeeking. The noise is the bushing squeekin in the shock mount....

The place that needs the grease is pretty sealed. Say you have the shock off, no rubber in it. Where that rubber meets that metal it squeeks. When you tighten the bolt to hold the shock on it touches the metal insert in the bushing. When the suspension moves up and down the bushing squeeks in the shock.

it is not like it is hard to remove a shock...2 bolts per shock...

Ya, super easy.. And so much better when its quite... Dont use pb blaster, that wont do crap for long. Use some good marine grease and it will stay quiet for awhile.

i took both shocks off.. and put thick nasty grease in a tube we had..

she is siiiiiiiiilent!
